Nesting entities, moving configuration between instances, who can change what, and putting a change behind an approval.

The workshop is done once you have heard a call change. These four pages are shorter, and exist so you know what is there when you start using DFC on real work rather than a demo.

  1. Hierarchy and inheritance — nest an entity under another for a shared schema and a shared permission grant, at the cost of longer paths.
  2. Import and export — move configuration between instances, and seed a new one.
  3. Permissions — who can see DFC, and who can change it.
  4. Change management and audit — putting a change behind an approval, and the record it leaves.
